Oregon Housing and Community Services

3EStrategies has been engaged to help green Oregon's largest affordable housing developer.  We were selected to develop a strategic plan and implementation process for the Oregon Housing and Community Services Department to imbed green and sustainable practices into the programs the agency delivers.  As part of our service we will be assisting the agency in strategically investing ARRA stimulus dollars to deliver benefits to Oregonians well beyond the stimulus funding cycle.

Green Jobs Revitalization and Growth Initiative

3EStrategies has been hired by the State of Oregon to assist the Oregon Workforce Investment Board in developing a statewide Green Jobs Strategic Plan (as required by HB 3300).  The initiative includes both assisting OWIB with development of the Green Jobs Strategic Plan, and coordinating the numberous green jobs stakeholders and training providers in submittingcollaborative proposals for the U.S. Department of Labor green jobs-related stimulus funds.

Green Career Readiness Certificate

3EStrategies has been hired by the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council to assist the Region 10 Workforce Investment Board in developing a Green Career Readiness Certificate (CRC).  The CRC is a nationally recognized skills assessment tool that provides employers with an assurance that certificate holders have the basic skills necessary to be trained for a specific occupation.  3EStrategies will provide documentation of environmental aptitudes, knowledge and skills as they relate to the CRC occupational profiles and will assist in the creation of a standardized, generally accepted and comprehensive environmental evaluation to be added to the CRC occupational profiles.
